It's almost the end of the January 2009 and I'm enjoying my Monday at home. I caught a little virus and decided it would be best to stay away from work. The roads are also covered in ice so that's an extra excuse to be lazy. I'm about to hit my month mark of living in my new (1950) house in Nichols Hills. It's super cute. I'll share :) I haven't put much effort into decorating so use your imagination a little.
Very undecorated office
After uploading these few pictures, I realized the pics of my bedroom weren't very cute so they will have to wait. There are pictures of what my bedroom will look like for the most part in my first post on here. I should be unpacking more boxes but I'm really not excited about it anymore. All the fun stuff is out for the most part. I just typed for the most part twice. hehe
My latest obsession comes from the blog of Fifi Lapin. I LOVE everything about it! If you know me, then you know how I've become about these bunnies!
Here are a few that I like
xxx
I'm not sure anyone could get as crazy as I am over these bunnies (except for the person creating them, I guess), but I can't get enough of them.
My office closed today at noon because of the ice and it looks like a lot will be closed tomorrow. Since I work for the state, it's a good chance I won't have to work...again. Last week had to be one of the busiest weeks for me. We had a huge board meeting at my office that lasted from 9-4. For the past year or so that I've worked there, meetings have never been that long...even during budget time! We're searching for a new president at one of the universities and it's about to drive me nuts. I also have to plan everything for higher education day and it seems like it's going okay so far. I've been in pretty high spirits about everything though because I got a raise. I wonder how long it will last :)
